Tomboy-LaTeX - LaTeX math plugin for Tomboy

screenshot

What Is It?

Tomboy-LaTeX is a plugin for the desktop note-taking application Tomboy. It automatically converts LaTeX math code enclosed in \[...\] into inline images. Clicking on the image or moving the cursor over the image reveals the markup again.

Requirements

Of course, you need Tomboy installed to use the plugin.
Furthermore, a LaTeX install is required on the PATH and
convert (ImageMagick) is needed to create the images.

Download and License

Due to a patch by Tom Weingarten, version 0.5 can now be considered stable.

Note that the versions 0.4 and 0.5 need Tomboy 0.7 or later and the new Mono.Addins interface (special thanks to Bjørn Haagensen for the conversion). Version 0.3 is essentially the same but works with earlier versions of Tomboy and uses the Tomboy Plugin interface.
